Our first Spring Production was held at what was formerly known as Southern Polytechnic State University in March 2003 in the Joe Mack Wilson Theater. We were excited to have approximately 42 participants! This year, we'll likely have our BIGGEST Spring Production to date with well over 225 participants! Not only is the message of NO PLACE LIKE HOME, written and produced by Danese Turner, a relevant, dramatic story for RIGHT NOW, but we are also excited to celebrate a reunion of our Steppers and the 25th Anniversary of Angelic Dance Ministry with current and alumni members! Our cast of actors, infused with our dance, mime, step, flags, pageantry, and African drum ministries never fail to deliver a powerful show in excellence to the glory of God!
In addition to regular ministry rehearsals, we ask that you please calendar the following important dates, and plan to participate/be present. If you or your child will NOT be able to attend a scheduled rehearsal, please, please inform the ministry leader or Admin IN ADVANCE.
We don't just move, we have a mandate to deliver a message. And our message is based on scripture. The focus scripture that we would like all participants to commit to memory for No Place Like Home is Psalm 68:5-6, which reads as follows: “Father to the fatherless, defender of widows— this is God, whose dwelling is holy. 6God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.”
Production fees are used to help pay for the expenses associated with production weekend: facility rental, food for Cast Care, professional services, the backdrop and set, special effects, props, give-away items, and garments for all participants. The 2025 fees are as follows:

SP 2025 may have come and gone, but we pray that you felt at "HOME" as you showed love and felt love from others.
Each household is requested to sell a total of 4 tickets for EACH SHOW. This can be through physical tickets that you sell from your packet or online sales when a patron indicates your name or your child's name.
Tickets are available for pick up from the Ticket Manager, Michelle Page, or from the Ticket Point of Contact (POC) for your ministry during ministry rehearsals. ONLY ADULTS can pick up tickets. Pricing is as follows:
Adults (18 to 64): $25
Golden Agers/Seniors (65+): $20
Students (Pre-K - College students with ID): $15
*Checks should be made payable to Turner Chapel; MEMO: SP Tickets/Your Name
Money and/or tickets MUST BE returned to your POC by Saturday, March 1st. This helps the Ticket Team know how many seats are still available for sale online or during Sunday sales in the lobby. Even if you only sold ONE (1) ticket, please return the rest of your packet. Do not exchange tickets with others as the ticket numbers in your packet are assigned to you. There will be a charge of $300 for ticket packets that are NOT RETURNED (or paid for) by March 3rd.
If we do not sell out for a given show, YES, tickets will be available at the door. There will be a $2 increase for each ticket category (adult, student, Golden Agers 65+).
Groups of 10+ to a single show receive a discount and group seating (if all members of the group arrive early). We want you to bring your Bible Study Group, your sports team, your sorority sisters, fraternity brothers, youth group, co-workers, or your Family Group! Group tickets are $15 each and can be ordered by calling the ticket Manager, Michelle Page, at 404.542.2432 or by sending a request to springproduction@turnerchapelame.org.
We first allow you, our WAM Family, an opportunity to sell your physical tickets before the online sales site opens. Online tickets can be purchased here.
The new sales site template does not permit the WAM Members name to be inserted. We apologize for this unforeseen change.
NOTE: Please ask patrons to PRINT their online ticket(s). ONLINE SALES WILL END WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12th.
All ministries will be photographed after service on Sunday, March 9th. Garments and attire will be provided by ministry leaders. Please read all communication to determine what you or your child will need for Picture Day. A schedule will be posted soon indicating dressing space and photo time.

Please make sure you have all garments, accessories, etc. by Picture Day! Ladies: Be very careful as you change if you're wearing makeup.

Spring Production cannot be successful without dedicated and cooperative volunteers. All parents or guardians must volunteer in at least one area or shift during the weekend, or request that another family member work on your behalf. You may also sign up for more than one shift. But we also want you to sit back and enjoy one show. Please pray about where you are truly called to serve and where you can be most effective. We LOVE our V-Force!
